Hearing Aid Coverage for All Ages–Not Just Children

March 9, 2009 · 3 Comments

Take a moment to watch this video by Dennis O’Brien, in which he explains the status of Senate Bill 68 which originally was to provide insurance coverage to Illinois residents of all ages. Now two amendments have been introduced which is turning the bill into coverage up to age 18.

The time is NOW. Take a moment to view the captioned video and take action!

We have Grace’s Law here in NJ where children are provided hearing aids regardless of their health insurance situation.

I just purchased a new hearing aid myself, it was so expensive!! It is great what they do for the kids…but yeah, what about the adults?

There is always a struggle somewhere! (sigh)

hi im from arizona, for adults here we have NOTHING! for child yes we have it but not until like 18 thats it but understand that if you work for state, you will HAVE the best insurance out there that NO ONE can get! but i do understand that ppl who do not want to work for state has to pay full price for hearing aids. Sucks huh? i know im into it now too..but the only way to without pay hearing aids is work for state like deaf school but other than that nothing..
